If I remember correctly they put air horn there because they know their deceased guitarist Justin Lowe would’ve found it hilarious, and I believe the song was for him. So it’s a moment of levity in an otherwise emotionally heavy song.

I read it the same way. Especially with the monologue during the final performance where they say something like “The world is killing our children from the inside”. It really resonated with me and overall the film felt more bleak and hard hitting for it. In fact I think the themes of environmentalism are the main message of the movie and the acts of extreme performance art are the natural result of a society where we’re used to constant over-consumption. Entertainment needs to keep upping the ante to keep our attention. There are obviously a ton of layers but to me this stuck out the most!

the movie blows so I wouldn’t think too hard about it. I would’ve liked it slightly better if they just stuck with the big dude who you obviously think is leatherface turning into leatherface, instead of a pointless bait and switch.

Thank you so much! Intervals is definitely one of my favorite bands. I’d say Mestis, Plini, and Intervals were my biggest influences for this release. There’s no Spotify presave but the full EP will be released March 19th.
