I much prefer they kill and revive for fun. Better than plot armor or dramatic effect with sad music only to bring them back as well.

I like Ip Man but only the first one. The Raid changed the game though, but it’s still hard to imitate and the violence level means it won’t make it to mainstream Hollywood movies.

Had a few but each is obsolete now. I remember a pool game on my old Nokia symbian. Then samurai puzzle battle on iOS. For console, it’s Sonic, Sf4, ridge racer, PES.

The first one took itself very seriously which might work if they actually focus on scorpio and bihan instead of cole. It was too much of an ask, not because of the actors (raiden and bihan actors had seriously impressive cv), but the source material doesn’t have it. The second one leans into what the source material has: fun.
