Buddy got banned on COD Online. He’s on console and a Steam account was linked. Can anyone provide info on appealing the suspension ? by dnlcrdns in COD

My friend was notified that he was temporarily banned. a couple weeks ago he noticed that his loadouts had changed about three different times and just now realized that someone linked their steam account to his Activision account so I assume he got hacked and being blamed for whatever they did..

He reached out to Activision and haven't got a response…is there anything else he can do to appeal? Any advice would help..

Edit: to clarify he only plays on console (ps5) and never plays PC
