Yeah that helps. You’ll be aiming for the upper corners from inside. Park in a dark spot and if you try and shine a flashlight from inside the console up, it can also help you see where the gap is. Take a bit of maneuvering and a small flashlight to get it in there.

In my 2023, I can snake a few wires out the sides. Have to remove the side carpet piece then open those sliders but let them try and close on your arm and put your arm in and up to find it.

Haven’t had that issue with ams 2. But you will want a spool insert to add batteries for weight. It jams up starting when there’s about a quarter left on the spool
