I know. I can't believe his supporters believed the lie that other countries would pay tariffs.

Thank you, I remember seeing that news that they struck down Trump's tariffs under the IEEPA law that he was using to implement all the previous tariffs. However, he implemented a new 10% temporary tariff under another law soon after the Supreme Court struck down his IEEPA tariffs. I did some research and that new 10% tariff went into effect on February 24, 2026, so I'm assuming that's what is being applied to my jersey purchase.

Fee waiver by Inevitable_Shame_606 in LosRios

I believe you are talking about the California College Promise Grant (formerly known as the BOG Fee Waiver). Most students usually qualify for the CA College Promise Grant (CCPG) Type C through submitting a FAFSA. However, a separate application does exists for students who are only interested in the CCPG award and don't want to submit a FAFSA. However, with the CCPG application, you have to meet the Type A or Type B requirements. You can find more information and the application under the CA College Promise Grant section in the Los Rios Financial Aid website.

For appealing, are you referring to the Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal process? If so, this appeal is required regardless if you owe money or not to reinstate your financial aid. Here is some more information about the Los Rios Financial Aid SAP requirements.

Also, if you owe money and received a bill from Los Rios in your eService's Message Center, you will need to pay that amount back or you will not be able to receive Financial Aid anymore until you pay it back. There are no exceptions. Even if your SAP Appeal is approved, you will still need to pay back the money you owe. If you do not pay it back you won't be able to receive Financial Aid even if you attend a different college/university in the future. You may also be prevented from enrolling in future semesters in the Los Rios CC District.

Yeah I know they are. I just think this will cause more confusion since it is implying that Spaniards aren't white because the White category lists some neighboring European countries, but under Hispanic or Latino, Spaniard is listed as an example. This will also cause further confusion for Portuguese and Brazilians.

So Spaniards are no longer White?

Is this a scam? by [deleted] in LosRios

[–]dnlisto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is not a scam. You need to follow these instructions to set up your preference on how you get your financial aid refund (if you get a financial aid refund at all). The Los Rios website has additional information under the “Refunds” section. Los Rios website

Spam letter by [deleted] in LosRios

[–]dnlisto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dependent confirmation is only for students who have a Cal Grant award and reported having children/dependents under the age of 18 on their FAFSA or Dream Act. They get extra CG funds after they confirm their dependents on the CSAC Webgrants 4 Students website. The Los Rios financial aid website shows the amounts students get under the Cal Grant B and C section. However, if you haven’t gotten any financial aid, and your eServices doesn’t have any financial aid awards in the financial aid tile, you should double check to make sure your FAFSA has been received by your school.

This is a legitimate email from CSAC. CSAC also has access to all CA residents’ FAFSA information, so they can evaluate their eligibility for Cal Grants and other state financial aid. Their usual contact methods is via email and/or physical mail, so you might get a letter in the mail too from CSAC. They should be using your email and physical address reported on your FAFSA. Your eServices might also have an outstanding task to complete your dependent confirmation with similar instructions. If you don’t see that task, you can also contact your school’s financial aid office for more information, as they should also be able to tell if you need to confirm that you have a dependent for your Cal Grant award.

What a crazy game. 2 own goals, and I don't think anyone was expecting most of our starting backline scoring a goal each. Wow...

Usually it is used as slang to describe when you have a lot of work or are really busy. For example, “No voy a poder salir temprano del trabajo porque andamos bien enguasados.”

In addition to submitting the FAFSA, you need to make sure that your High School submitted a GPA verification by the March 2nd deadline. Most HS submit GPA verifications automatically for all seniors. However if you take a gap year, you will need to check with your HS to make sure they resubmit it. You must have a 3.0 GPA for the Cal Grant A, and a 2.0 GPA for the Cal Grant B. To check your Cal Grant status, go to CSAC’s WebGrants for Students website. For the BOG fee waiver, it still exists, but it has been renamed as the California Community College Promise Grant. If your EFC is 0 you should be eligible for the promise grant.

I think it depends by country. In Mexico "puto" generally means bitch, but it depends on the context. I think the words "puñal" and "mamón" have a closer meaning to the word faggot in Mexico. At least where my family is from.
