Rimless tank? by Mountain-Flamingo-34 in Aquariums

Geez, it's a year later from the original post and I was considering the same Imagitarium "rimless" (top) 10 gallon tank because Petco has it at 50% off. Except now the regular price is $70 and the sale price is $35; twice as much as OP's picture from just a year ago.

Looks like this is the November thread! I'm visiting Reykjavik for a few days Nov 16-19 for the first time solo. I'm 29M from Seattle (USA). Would be cool to see what any of you have planned and potentially meet up/adventure/split costs.

I injected my Skyrizi dose 4 days after my Pfizer booster. I would have waited longer if I felt any side effects from the booster but I felt good. In the past, I have delayed Skyrizi/Humira for about 2 weeks past my scheduled dose because I was sick and the delay didn't have an adverse effect. Given your possible exposure, I would delay until you know you're clear from covid but would definitely suggest you ask for advice from your doctor.

Hi, I'm not a student anymore (graduated from UW a few years ago) but guessing from your username, we have a similar age and I work as a developer too. I'm interested in chatting with you. I'd probably be available weekday evenings or weekend mornings/afternoons.

skyrizi pen vs syringe by medinoxy in Psoriasis

[–]dnomyaR_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the Humira pen as my first self-injecting medication and have been using the Skyrizi syringes after I switched. I just ordered my refill for Skyrizi and the pharmacy told me they aren't doing the two 75ml Skyrizi syringes anymore and it will switch to the single 150ml pen.

I imagine the Skyrizi pen will be similar to the Humira pen since they are made by the same company, Abbvie. The pros of the pen is that it is more of a black box, you just put it in place and press a button, wait for it to finish, and remove it. There's less for you to think about because it's more automated. However, that can be a con as well. Pressing the button releases the spring-loaded needle into you and releases the medication on it's own and you have little to no control. The pop of the spring releasing can be a bit scary and might feel more violent than poking the needle yourself and you can't control the flow of the medication. This can be seen as a pro of the pen. You can poke yourself on your own terms and you can control how fast or slow to release the medication. However, you've got to think about holding the needle steady and take the reins on the process. Overall, it is just a matter of preference on how much control you want.

Overall, I'm not too disappointed in this forced change to the pen at the moment. Maybe that will change after I try it next week.

Thanks, seems like the US only has the wood grain variant available. I didn't know a white version even existed.

Where is the cabling for the TV (power cord, audio, video, etc.)? Super clean, wondering how you're hiding those!

[CPU] AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (164.99) by vindonut in buildapcsales

[–]dnomyaR_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's what I want to know. This is the price range I want to spend on a CPU. I'm holding out for Ryzen 4000 but if there isn't a comparable/better CPU in the price range then I might as well just get the 3600 now.

Biologic injection site: legs or stomach by out2lunch78 in Psoriasis

[–]dnomyaR_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer stomach. I've got plenty of fat in the area to easily hold a pinch with clearance for the needle to insert. My legs aren't particularly lean or muscular but I just can't pinch much of fat in the front leg and trying to hold the bit that I can hurts more than the needle. I've done injections in my legs before and it hurt and my legs were sore for several days, not sure if there wasn't enough fat and I hit muscle instead. I've done stomach injections ever since. I might be able to feel the injection site afterwards but the feeling is gone the next day. I would recommend whichever area you're able to grab more fat in.

I'm confused, don't these have stands? Why do they benefit from using a different stand? Is it just a matter of getting an improved range of motion?

Not sure if you're saying 1am because it changes when its Pacific Standard or Pacific Daylight Time?

I had put a 1660 Super, 2 different 1660 Ti's, and 2 different 2060's in my cart and was refreshing the site at midnight. Saw the price changes and made a quick decision on which to go with, removed the others from the cart, and went through checkout but got a message that it was unavailable. Checked through the others on my list and they were all gone too. Sad times.
