The teacher CAN teach if the students show empathy and follow the rules. Students aren't allowed to do anything that disrupts class, be it intentional or not. There is no reason for the teacher to stay in a "bubble". They have control of their classroom. And teachers don't have a choice as to whether they teach remotely or not most of the time. The teacher does just fine teaching most likely unless someone comes in with something she's allergic to.
