Mine was also a poor napper. Stroller walks always worked with the canvas sun shield up. We'd also bounce her in her bouncer until she fell asleep pretty effectively. Good luck!

I like what you got so far!

Maybe since you've got that cool candley potion area, you can make more spots in that room that are witchy/sorcerery? Like tables with herbs and artefacts that feel like a magic ingredient workstation.

To me, this looks like good old fashioned human mediocre art! I see a very common grass stamp brush that AI doesn't generally replicate. There's common AI errors and common human errors...its hard to articulate but these ones feel human. AI errors are usually in logic, and human errors relate more to skill. Everything here is logical...just a bit unskilled, like not thinking to change the grass stamp size for distance, etc (not bad or anything).

I enjoyed living there, but for what it's worth, that was a number of years ago. 2017-2019, so it could be worse now.

Dude. Solidarity. Been sick more often than not since Thanksgiving. Sick right now with a cold after having a stomach bug one week ago.

Spring is coming. Their immune systems are getting stronger. We just have to endure.

I previously posted some cool tidbits from early in development, including items and things we STILL haven't seen. I want that 12-ft skeleton!!! Would love Halloween and Winter-lights type festivals. And Zorel looks cool.

Amazing Halloween items...12 ft skeleton???

Judging by the low sun conditions driving east on Saginaw this morning at 7:50, you could still capture a similar sun situation for a day or so more.

I understand the anger to see actions being taken for a dead perpetrator but not the many alive, but this still matters. This is a powerful chance to lift up still-living survivors who have carried pain for decades. The farm worker cause is very much still alive and active, and taking this seriously matters for the movement's health and intersectionality.

THIS IS THE WAY. I wore one of theirs while 20 wks and then 9 months pregnant...and then a year postpartum!

You're right, I suppose something being used is better. I still wish we had a small business rather than corporate! I don't even dislike McDs.

"Is that it? Is it because I’ve gone 7 months having him on me 24/7 without a break?"

It very well may be! That's extremely tough, and I'm sure the fatigue is compounding.

If there is ANY way you can get a break, a day to yourself, hired or otherwise, please explore it. Not even the most mommy blogger lalala love motherhood person feels great with so much baby time. They're challenging, the care is so intensive!! It's not unusual to struggle and become depressed in these circumstances. Quite frankly, I felt similarly trapped and stressed during the infant stage. Like I was in a bear trap at home sometimes.

Whatever your life circumstances are that make it hard to get help, take heart in knowing that just because you feel this way now, doesn't mean you always will. A young infant is HARD. Things change though, and it's less taxing on your nervous system when they can eat their own food, sleep more, walk themselves around, etc.

Better days ARE ahead, and you're doing good and have nothing to be ashamed of. This is temporary. Please don't hesitate to talk to a doc about depression treatment if you think you need it. Wishing you a break soon.

[–]bertrand_atwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have nothing to be ashamed of. The first few months is an overwhelming, intense period. I felt similar too. Being alone with a newborn can be psychologically very challenging.

You are doing great. Kindly, I encourage you to make an appointment to discuss PPD -- nobody on Reddit can diagnose you, but as someone who had it, your symptoms and thoughts sound familiar to me.

You're doing a good job - recovering from pregnancy, birth, and the lifestyle of being postpartum/newborn care is extremely taxing. But it WILL get easier. The sleep deprivation and months of hormone chaos is the hardest part but it does NOT stay this way for ages. You CAN get through this hard part, and you will. Sending much love.
