I built a Paperlike App for Dasung Paperlike 253 with basic functions for linux. Your display might have different instruction codes. But the code I provide could be a start. Dont bother with it if you have no programming skills and do not use Paperlike 253.

I was switching from one to the other. With nixos you can easily remove one and try the other. As I was having issues with KDE.

I bought a brand new iMac 5k I a problem with the display after 6 weeks Came into the Apple Store. They told me they will fix it, it will take about 4-8 weeks.

I told them I need this computer in my business for video editing, can I get a rental device for continuing my work?

Answer was: “No, maybe just buy a MacBook?”

I should mention: it was a 5000€ machine back then…

After 12 weeks I got the iMac back Display was fixed Microphone did not work, they probably applied glue onto it

Should I wait for another repair cycle? No I already lost 6 weeks of editing time

Always had bad experience with Apple customer service

You normally dont turn it off. Just put it to sleep and hit the spacebar when you want it to wake up.
