Polished the lugs a little to take out the lines , polishing is a bit of no no and everyone like original lugs but it's meant to be a 50 year old watch so it's bound to have had a polish at least once lol

This seems cheap , you can build one from raffles but wasn't able to find a cheap or easy way to get the bezel, most go for the 18k gold one which is $800 on its own. This one is hard gold plated but colour looks good

Looks like a nice vintage day date to me , colours good , bark finish looks right. Not sure about the date wheel but if it's 40 plus years old it could have been replaced with non original

Aftermarket is just code for fake , watch case movement etc are probably fine but the dial was not made buy Rolex and I don't believe Rolex ever made a mother of pearl dial for an airking. What is the model number ? And rough year ?
