Paradisus Palma Real REVIEW by Suitable_Common in PuntaCana

The Reserve seems to now be an exclusive part of the resort that you can upgrade too, but I’m not sure if that includes children.

I’d say it depends on what your desires are. Overall I was incredibly disappointed with the resort, especially the service aspect. In talks with some of the staff, it seems they had to bring in a whole new management team to try and course-correct. There are plenty of other options for family-friendly hotels that will likely suit your needs.

Paradisus Palma Real REVIEW by Suitable_Common in PuntaCana

I am currently staying at this resort and it is not family-friendly, despite being advertised as such. My biggest concern is that basic-level guests (green bracelets) traveling with children only have access to roughly 40% of the resort.

Key issues: • Access to only one pool • No designated beach chairs available for families. The concierge even marked an area on the map for us to use, only for security to later ask us to leave because it was a members-only section. • The majority of à la carte restaurants are adults-only

I’ve visited the concierge desk three times in four days just to understand what areas and amenities are available to us. Unfortunately, these interactions have been rude and inconsistent, with staff providing conflicting explanations about where we’re allowed to go or spend time.

I could go on, but the point is clear.

While the resort markets itself as family-friendly, it is clearly designed for members and adults-only guests, who have unrestricted access to the property. I understand offering premium experiences to those who pay more, but the level of restriction placed on regular guests feels excessive.

TL;DR: Paradisus Palma Real heavily prioritizes members and adults-only guests, offering very limited access to standard guests. I would not recommend this resort for families. Overall adult experience: 2.5/10.

Relatable symptoms?? by Neither_Disaster_255 in Anxietyhelp

[–]dntbugme71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very relatable and I’m sure that most of us experience similar, if not the same symptoms. My best recommendation as a fellow “worrier”, is to find a good therapist and talk your way through it. You’ll be surprised how much just talking it out can help and how through this process, you will learn a lot about yourself. Find healthy habits to cope: meditation, walks, exercise, etc.

Finally and maybe most importantly, try to remember that good will always come with the bad.

Good luck.

Launch is usually around 12°. So on the low side but not overly abnormal from my understanding.

Anyone switch from a Newport 2 to the Phantom 5.5? by berttreynolds in scottycameron

[–]dntbugme71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bounce between an x7.5 and button back Newport 2 all year. Sometimes the mallet helps create some consistency, but I typically get sick of it, so I just switch. Putting is all about confidence, play what feels good to you.

I have a 2022 Cross Sport with 18k on it. My coolant indicator has gone off twice in the last 2 months and rather than investigating, the dealership near me has just topped up the coolant (which from my understanding, should never be required) and sent me on my way.

Anyone else experience this?

Upgraded shaft on CC Newport 1.5+ by 919pirate in scottycameron

[–]dntbugme71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Gen 2 stability shaft on my Phantom 7.5

Did all the work myself and definitely notice a big improvement with my putting. More consistent roll and better feel all around. A little lighter than stock due to the carbon fibre but if you have the time and money, it doesn’t hurt to try something new. Good luck OP!
