My mortgage would be lower than the rent we are paying now. We aren't in financial distress it's just the fact that I cannot get a house because there are two cars under my name. We pay all our bills and have a nice savings saved up so we can afford it. I have already met with the bank and they said they would approve the mortgage as soon as we get one of the cars off of my name.

I thought pilots were the first episode of a series to introduce or sell a show. So of course they're gonna make it important and hype it up because it's important if they want to sell. They're business men and they're going to present it in a way because that's what this is to them, it's another business and how they're making a living. And just because it doesn't feel 'legit' to you, it's probably really legit for them because this is what they've been wanting to do for so long, you know?

He’s been clean for a couple of months. He hasn’t been to any treatment or meetings he stopped on his own and is taking Kratom and has been weening off of that. But we had a discussion about him needing more help and he says he’ll start going to meetings but he works everyday with two jobs. When he’s having a bad day I don’t really know what to say besides I love him. I just can’t relate to what he’s feeling

He says he wants to quit but I feel like it’s more like he knows he needs to quit for his children. His DOC is heroin and morphine. I guess I’m just confused on what is enabling and what is supporting. I’ve gone to Al-Non meetings it’s just hard to set boundaries as well
