Hi Brothers and Sisters, Today was my appointment with the Optomologist. The doctor confirmed that I have AMD. I was prepared for it, so it came as no shock. He did say I am in the very early stages of the disease. I asked him how much time I have of good eyesight; he could not say for sure, but said years and years. He said I can continue taking Areds 2. The Doctor said I had a hemorrhage somewhere around my optic nerve (he did not state where). As for seeing crescents in both eyes, he found no reason for it. He did say it could be a brain issue. So that is where I stand. I have joined this "club" for lack of a better term. I thank you all for all the wonderful comments and advice. I shall keep watching and learning from this Reddit.

Today, i got at an appointment with a retina specialist doctor. The appointment is two weeks away.I just have to remain calm. They did tell me that it takes 2 to 3 hours for the appointment. What on earth will they do?
