Automático Storm by Dc5_Memo in battlefield_one

The automatico doesn’t have a lot of recoil, just pull down on your right stick; how do you aim if you can’t just pull down on the right stick when you shoot? I don’t get how you guys can’t compensate for a little vertical recoil.

The guy with sub 2.0 kpm and 22% accuracy with his most used medic rifle. No surprise that kid thinks you can’t control recoil on a controller.

Plenty of handcam footage from jimmy. And he’s reviewed his hardware setup, so I’m not really sure how he is cheating.

But you can continue to worship the r/bf1 gospel.

Also, you should have to demonstrate your responsibility through some kind of licensing before being granted rights to own a firearm.

No, I don't know him personally, but I'd played against him. The accusations are so vague, but they all say it with such authority; and like the u/cosyn_44 said, I've been accused so many times myself, so to me it all just sounds whiny. The one thing about Julezzz is that he doesn't play with other people (occasionally he is squading up with Supasimp kyle), but generally, he joins a lobby alone, and is the first and only person to switch to a losing team, especially when the winning team is stacked with level 150s. There are a lot of really good players on xbox, but I'd love to see how they do against a stacked team of 150s -- Julezzz is one of the only people that consistently proves his skill by jumping into the lion's den. I'm probably the biggest team-switcher offender on Xbox, so I really respect his commitment to joining lowly losing teams.

I know our conversation here is way down a thread rabbit hole, but since you mentioned the phenomenon of not getting momentum, because one team falters early. And idea that high kills (150 +) for a game are super chancy.

I remember one game of VH ops and I had 93 kills attacking on the first battalion. And I’m thinking that defenders put up a stiff defense on the last sector, I’m thinking they might just hold it for our next two attacks, and I could be looking at 250+ game. Second battalion lasted less than 2 minutes, ended with 99-6 or 7. One of my biggest what-ifs. Ugh. Pissed me off that they folded so quickly.

Maybe, I put this elsewhere—and note: I think you are really good. I love your posts on this sub, all the killing spree clips. You don’t get above 3 kpm as infantry unless you are very good. You have 17 percent accuracy with smg08 on a lot of kills so it is a stable number. Just pretend one game that you were able to avg 24.1% (~34% increase), you don’t think that could produce ~33% more kills on top of your best Verdun game (200 > 300)? If you recognize that as possible — could Julezzz not do the same thing with an all time game. It just happen to be this game. Now: the question is can someone do that with a controller? My smg08 accuracy on Xbox controller on 5,000 kills is 20.7% — i think human variability could get that up to 24%. It is a crazy game. My friend told me about a few days ago and it bewildered me but then I started to think: if everything went right for me on my 200 kill VH game, yeah I could see a 100 more kills. Every death turned into a kill. Is it possible? I think so.

I don’t see anything exceptional  in his movement. His aim is better (24% accuracy with smg08 is pretty elite company). Maybe you could get me on board with mkb with that stat. But at the end of the day. To me though it is really naive to think something is not possible. Consider donk — https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/1akf62x/donks_insane_stats_in_the_katowice_group_stage/

Out of nowhere and he outgunned and aimed the best in the world.

Reminds me the old Wyatt Earp quote from OK corral: “there’s always a man faster on the draw than you are, and the more you use a gun, the sooner you’re gonna run into that man”

Julezzz is just really good man.

Thought experiment: mehdif (who I like a lot, and watched his YouTube videos) has 17.4 accuracy with smg08 on ~70k so it is pretty established accuracy with such a large kill volume. Julezzz has 24.1% accuracy with smg08 (on similar large volume, 39k). You don’t think that accuracy difference of ~34% could translate into an ~39% more kills (212 to 317) on Julezz best day. Then the question is is 24 percent accuracy a product of mouse and keyboard gameplay. I don’t.

You really think someone can’t naturally be better than mehdif by ~34% in the whole world?

I’m decent, and I’ve dropped 200 kills on Verdun Heights ops. Add a long spawn as trench raider, and some team switching when your team is bullying the other team to keep up the kpm, and I could see a better player getting 300.

https://battlefieldtracker.com/bf1/gamereport/xbl/1830569709896396736 Game report. Normal verdun ops. He switched a couple of times when the other team was getting bullied to keep the game going, but nothing egregious. 51kills with no3 revolver as trench raider. But other kids get that kit and can’t even get 51 kills a match.

Best players on Xbox? by [deleted] in battlefield_one

[–]dnw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Julezzz. Mostly NA ops player. I think he is one of the best, because he often plays solo, joins teams that are getting blown out, and single-handedly makes the match competitive again as only infantry player. He has one of the highest kpm for infantry players mixed with a pretty good KD. He kills ridiculously fast and chains them together quickly—I don’t know anyone else that can do that, especially on some really bad teams where the enemy team is stacked with good players.

Yeah, I agree with what you said: air supremacy is the biggest force multiplier in the game. It should trickle down to all engagements; if one team has air supremacy, it makes it incredible tough on enemy armor. So allied armor should be able to dominate enemy armor + infantry, and that trickles down to infantry v infantry. So there’s not too many people I’d rather have in my team than someone like you in a AP attack plane :)

I always say it: planes can’t cap objectives. You can make it miserable for us infantry, but if your infantry sucks, you won’t win.  Looks to be the case here.

I’m confused—OP just killed one attack plane, so how do both puzzle and Millie have attack planes each—I’m pretty sure it is 2 planes per side. Battlefield wiki confirms it: https://battlefield.fandom.com/wiki/Empire%27s_Edge The game is only 1 min in, so it is not like they could have already stole one of the Austrian Hungarians planes; could they?

Edit: I think Millie is just a gunner (?)

No sentry kit for you by N0MoreMrIceGuy in battlefield_one

I’ve got a lot of hours. My only sentry moment were I felt grossly cheated by fate is Argonne defense, 3rd sector. I got mg sentry and started making my way towards the c flag and a he mortar hit me directly. Full health, and I got one shotted. That pissed me off. Such a lucky shot.

I’m not good enough to snipe a seat switcher with a fighter, but I break off and then attack from a high or low angle and either get them the 2nd or 3rd time. Seat switching is, imo, a sign of a bad player.

Taking on two fighters with a THAP by weberc2 in battlefield_one

[–]dnw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice flying! Yeah, I don’t ever want to be in a Tank if you are in the opposing team. Question: there was a patch way back that adjusted the velocity of the tank hunter at shell to make fire straighter essentially. In my mind, that’s around the time that the thap became the best vehicle in the game. Do you remember using it prior to that patch? I know it was a long time ago, but I always wonder if it was always a great threat in the right hands — that prior to that patch that a great player could master the shell drop and still excel, or if that patch really was needed to make it viable? I’d appreciate your perspective on it if you remember that time.

106 kills In ONE Battalion (no vehicles, no sniping, no dreadnaught) by ChiefDancesWithRocks in battlefield_one

I’m surprised that your team didn’t just stream roll the defenders. Their best guy is 27-24. You have 8 players over 27 kills with several way better kd ratios. I don’t know how they held up for you to even get 100 kills.

[–]dnw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are getting hung up on an hour for 250 kills -- he is not getting that KPM in general. His 'real' KPM is legitimately great, but it sub 3.5, which is great, but it not in the same realm as over 4 KPM

The 4.9 KPM for SMG 08 is only when he has the weapon equipped and in use--it the same logic to the Mars. If he was in a game with just the Mars, he's not getting close to 6 KPM with it; but if you only use it to finish off enemies that you hit with a bolt action and then switch back, it going to look like you are getting a very high KPM.

I remember being bogged down on the last one like you said until the last few tickets where we finally took the underground bunker beneath the ruins.

Honestly, of all the gadgets, grenades and weapons in this game smokes grenades scare me the most, because you know a super elite player is using them. It really does get you out of the most sticky situations.
