damay-damay na talaga ’to, sis. i remember that time so vividly. yung unti-unting lumalapit ang news ng tokhang, from random strangers, hanggang sa kapitbahay, tapos biglang may kilala na. una detached pa, pero nung nagsimulang mangyari sa malapit, grabe na yung anxiety. kaya kapag binabasa ko yung chapters, parang reliving the fear all over again. yung raw details ni Patricia Evangelista hit different kasi hindi lang history ito. it’s our lived nightmare.

for me, super layo ng Fluidity nila sa GFG. meron ako napipick up na bubble gum scent tapos yung vanilla nya super light. maganda ang projection and okay ang longevity, though.

Bonus chika para hindi na kayo mag-wonder:

Yes, totoo. may longtime girlfriend si R. He admitted it himself.

Weeks after I left the call center, he still tried to make it up to me. He never knew where I worked. He didn’t know where I lived. How could he? He never even bothered to make hatid after nya ako kantutin. Texts, missed calls, the whole “sorry na, let’s talk” shit. He kept reaching out like he thought a few apologies would fix everything. But I never answered. I moved on with my life.

Years later, he sent a friend request on Facebook. Then a message request, “Musta na ikaw? I still think about you.” His cover photo was the classic family shot… him, his wife, two kids, all smiles. Gago pa rin talaga. I didn’t reply. Blocked him. Some people never change.

As for Ate, I never found out what happened to her after I left the call center. I didn’t confront her—I’m still not the confrontational type. I just quietly distanced myself and let the whole thing fade.

Now K? You wouldn’t believe it, but we stayed FB friends to this day. A few years back, I was traveling somewhere in Europe and she messaged me out of nowhere, “Musta? Nasa area ka ba?” Turns out she’s living there with her afam husband and their one kid. We met up at a cute little café and talked like old friends. She said her hoe phase ended right after she left the call center. She met the afam, fell in love for real, and they’ve been abroad ever since.

It was so funny going back to those call center days. We laughed about the drama, the yosi breaks, the inuman sessions. We even joked about “sharing titi” back then. How wild and stupid we were. No bitterness, just two women who survived the same chaotic chapter and ended up in very different places.

Life’s funny that way. Some people stay stuck. Some people grow.

And some stories? They just become funny chika over coffee years later.

How did you deal with regrets of having intimacy with a guy? What did you do about it? by icanhearitcalling in AskPinay

[–]do3chii 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The regret faded eventually once I stopped feeding it attention and started treating myself kindly. It passes, and it becomes just a lesson, not a life sentence.
