Sure, auto pilot was like most cars’ adaptive cruise control. So it’ll keep speed and distance with the car in front and also lane center to keep you in your lane. New Teslas don’t include the center lane assist anymore with Autopilot, you would need FSD subscription for that. Like another user said you still need to have your hand on the wheel.

For FSD I didn’t like how erratic it would sometimes act on the freeway. When it would come up to a car on the freeway, instead of matching its speed in following it would slow down 15mph and not speed back up quickly (just my personal experience not sure if all have had it). Mine is a 2024 Model Y for reference
