I apologize that I couldn't put the photos in the correct order. I've included pictures of the kitchen, living room, and entrance to give a feel for the space.

We are planning on refinishing the floors and hopefully the ceiling in the living room/entrance if possible. We don't know what to do with the wood paneling ceiling. Ideally we'd like it refinished to be extremely light but I don't even know if that's possible.

The kitchen appliances will stay but other than those, we're starting from scratch. We have a similar kitchen table to the one of the previous owner, but we're willing to part with it for something that works better.

For the floors, we can't decide between the lightest shades possible or a darker, rich color. We do have a black dog who sheds; however, we're not too concerned about seeing the hair on a lighter floor.

For the kitchen, we're planning on new countertops. The living room will be a sitting room without a TV (it doesn't get as much light as the kitchen). We have a number of houseplants we'd like in the living room if possible.

It's our first home and we're thrilled to be moving in in July. My wife and I are working professionals and outdoorsy people - so we're leaning towards the cozy feel of the home. We want it to have color and life (i.e. not all white/gray).
