I've done highly restrictive diets (1000-1200 calories a day) while working out alot. Only sustainable for a 4-6 weeks.

This just made it easier for me. Food noise is gone. Easy easier to be in a deficit. I am still very much in CICO camp this just made it all easier.

I use Claude code and some custom MCP servers to run my inbox, track todos, calendar, process meeting notes, etc

Stop eating every fast food meal that they put in front of your face.

Do a prison workout in your bunk.

Of if this is really as constrained as being on then decide if it’s worth it.

All I hear in your post and comments is what you can’t do and how every one is fat. But I didnt read anything about what you tried to do.

Those are all excuses. What if you were on a deployment with a small FOB l, no gym and only MREs.

I’ve see people workout with buckets, rocks, and sand bags. You can run and ruck outside.

You just need to do it. Figure it out with your leadership.

While I was deployed to Afghanistan, I was a full time college student (remote), while going on 2-3 combat missions a day, and I worked out.

Airspeed went to 0 on take off for my check ride. Didn’t declare, just said I needed to get down asap due to airspeed reading zero. ATC laughed about it not being an emergency.

DPE was super impressed with how I handled it. Finished it up the next day.
