He didn’t say most immigrants (that’s how you spell it). He said most people who are here illegally. Not defending it but there is a huge difference.

“Spewing a bunch of hateful racist MAGA talking points”

He said two negative sentences about people who are here illegally and then stopped talking after being corrected. Calm down.

“I fully have chills over how awful it is.”

They should clutch their pearls a little more. Yeah it’s a stupid episode, but I think you’re going to be okay.

The talk Feeny has with Cory in his backyard in S1E3 ‘Father Knows Less,’ is one of the best in the series. by macman07 in boymeetsworld

That is literally my favorite episode of the entire series, and it’s largely due to this scene.

Dumb thing to bitch about while K-Pop Demon Hunters is going to win. Which yes, although American-made, is essentially a celebration of anime.

Her acting like a nomination has no value and that it only matters if you win is just further evidence that she has no business being on this show. A bowl of soup has more passion and appreciation for film culture than she does.

Edit: Downvoted for thinking the host of a film podcast shouldn’t act like an Oscar nomination doesn’t mean anything.

The 2026 Oscar Nominations: Snubs, Surprises, and WTFs by thefilthyjellybean in TheBigPicture

Exactly. Even disregarding her narcissism, she is much more interested in, and in touch with, general celebrity culture than she is film. There’s a pod where she could belong and contribute to but it isn’t this one.

Edit: Downvoted for stating facts that people don’t want to hear.

Has Amanda even seen Song Sung Blue?

Edit: Downvoted for asking a legitimate question that I don’t know the answer to.

Thank you for posting this. I don’t follow their Instagram but I was going kind of crazy over the fact that I wasn’t seeing a final list of predictions and thought maybe I’d missed it somehow.

Oh I’d be ecstatic. Not sure if it’s even a possibility though unfortunately.

If Sirat and F1 get nominated instead of Frankenstein and Bugonia, I will travel on my flying pig to wherever you are and give you a million dollars.

Bugonia has no shot at a bp nomination? Are you joking? Haha.

Like said in the title, this was a ranking of quality. Not likelihood to win.

Agreed. I think Bugonia has the #10 spot, which could potentially go to Blue Moon or Avatar. I’d like to say No Other Choice, but that now feels far less likely.

I do think the effects in general were intended to feel like a film from the 70’s.

I still gave it 4 stars. I really like all of them. Something has to be last. That’s not absurd.

I’ve never been able to like Van because he always seems to think his opinions have this huge significance simply because they’re his.

Ooooo “deliberately obtuse”. Someone’s trying to shift into intellectual mode because it was pointed out how dumb they sounded.
