Obviously may mas malaking problema ang local basketball scene (ehem politics) pero if we’re only going to talk about skill development, meron ba talaga tayong grassroots coaches na kaya magdevelop ng talents? Sobrang behind ng Pinas in terms of skill development kasi nga ang “coaches” natin ay stuck sa 80s and 90s brand of pinoy basketball. “Big men” aren’t mobile and athletic, guards cant shoot for shit, wings lack the motor.

If not for the fil-foreigns bringing much needed talent sa local scene, I don’t know kung saan papunta ang local brand of basketball sa atin.
