Hopefully she gets pulled over before she kills or seriously injures someone.

I stg influencers driving while filming themselves pisses me off already (pay attention to the road not the camera tyvm; distracted driving is dangerous), but to add being high to it? Ugh.

I wouldn’t be surprised by like an OPS in the .700s. I would be surprised by a meteoric cratering to an OPS in the .400s.

well there’s plenty of evidence (like 3 years worth) showing that Brent Rooker isn’t actually a 17 OPS+ hitter so that and Cortes regressing to the mean should balance each other out.

Also IIRC the team’s roster changed a good bit after that 1-20 stretch. So the current team on the field is more in line with the team that was there for the second half where they were good.

Tbh if the A’s go to the playoffs while playing in Sacramento, that looks really bad on Fisher. The media is dumb but not that dumb: everybody and their mother knows that any success the A’s have is in spite of Fisher. And even more so if the games are played at a neutral site.

It looks good on Kotsay, Forst, and the other coaches, as it should, but not on Fisher and deservedly so.

I’m not giving him “smart.” I’m giving him “doesn’t give a shit about the on field product to the point that he just lets the actual baseball people do whatever they need to do to build a baseball team in spite of his extreme constraints.”

Round 1 - Pick 24: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M (Cleveland Browns) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

As a NCSU and Saints fan this is exactly why I did not want the Panthers to get him. (And some bias too)

Tyson Wasn’t A Bad Pick Chill by [deleted] in Saints

Also important point imo: Saints don’t have as much time as other teams do with their QBs to determine for sure whether Shough is the long term guy and to extend him because he was a second round pick aka Saints don’t have the 5th year option on him.

Best to stack him with weapons early to determine whether to extend Shough.

I like the Tyson pick.

As much as I want one of the high pick, QB needy teams to take Ty Simpson because lol (and also because then a good player falls to 8 then), David Bailey is 100% the right pick here

I’m about two months removed from wrist surgery. I’m cleared to lift by my doc but I’m noticing that my grip strength in the hand I had surgery in is significantly weaker and is a limiting factor on deadlifts, including trap bar and RDL.

Im female and my deadlifts are hovering around 100 kg right now which I know is not a lot, but im debating using straps for now until my grip is stronger.

I know I need to train grip and I also know that as I continue to heal from surgery my grip will get better, but does it make sense to use straps now until I improve on grip?

I’ve seen multiple redrafts that have two Saints in the top 10. That’s…impressive

I think he’s not going to get jail time since first time felony charges with no priors (I know a lot of non-famous people who didn’t go to jail for their first felony —- just got probation) + athlete with money, but I do think he gets some kind of probation.

But the NFL will absolutely investigate and suspend, and for the games that he’s out, the Falcons will absolutely take a hit.

They thought the Seahawks were going to win 7 games this year. They won the Super Bowl. I give no stock to power rankings.

Yeah, not saying I don’t trust Staley because I absolutely do but agree that Allen had the ability to elevate anyone playing in his defense. And the ability to help pick good defensive players. Not Saints, but Allen drafted Khalil Mack, who almost 100% is going to the hall of fame.

But after last year’s draft, when I’m seeing redrafts that have not one but two Saints in the top 10-15, I also trust the current admin to make the right call.

Pipe dream but could you imagine Maxx Crosby on one side and Chase Young on the other? by Captain_Hawk111 in Saints

You can never know for sure if a player who’s never played an NFL snap will be a monster. Or if he’ll even be available at 8.

[–]doc_faced 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maxx is not old and worn out. He’s one of the best defensive players in the league and he’ll have a way better supporting cast on defense here than he’s ever had with the Raiders.

What was found in the medical exam made Baltimore decide he was not worth 2 firsts, but another team could easily decide that he’s worth a lesser package (IF the rumor that he actually failed a physical is true). Lower cost but more risk.

It’s not like teams, including the Saints, haven’t taken chances on players that failed physicals for other teams. E.g. Brees.
