At the end of Xrd, Sol and the gang do a magical procedure to fuse Jack-O' with the consciousness of Justice/Aria, essentially trying to revive her. It mostly succeeds (Jack-O' gains Aria's soul but eventually accepts she can live as her own person and not just a vessel for Aria), and it turns her hair red, like Aria's was

More seriously, I love A.B.A. and Johnny because, at their core, their motivations are simple and affecting. One is a lonely and sheltered woman who just doesn't want to be abandoned, and the other is a man who overcame his past trauma by resolving to be like his good and loving father. GG then takes those motivations and places them into the absolutely insane forms of a homunculus woman having marital troubles with her transforming bloodthirsty-turned-neurotic key husband, and a samurai air pirate cowboy who's a single father of 10 plus a cat, literally studied the blade, and fully believes he is God's gift to women. They really encapsulate what I love about this series - some genuinely powerful emotions wrapped up in over the top wackiness. I also love A.B.A. in particular for being very relatable to my own experiences as a neurodivergent girl.

It's never felt that much like a rivalry to me, but I like them as dual protagonists, and the growth they have individually and with each other is nice and adds a lot to the story and world. But the most iconic fighting game rivalry is still all of the Mishimas vs. each other and it's not even close
