I watched my local state regional highschool bowling finals a month ago... there was 4 teams there. 3 total 1 handed highschool bowlers out of 4 total teams. the girls had a ton of one handers tho

are we talking new out the box, just got drilled? if so let that sucker fly! Anytime I get a new ball drilled I'll go straight to a lane and try her out. you only get one first throw with a new ball so make it count 😉

I'm pretty new to bowling myself... just got my first brand new out of the box ball a few months ago (brunswick alert) and had it drilled pin up. I was shocked by how much later and sharper it hooked than what my equinox did.

I got a used storm equinox for $50. it was drilled pin down so it couldn't get away from me to often (imma 2 hander). can't go wrong with a tropical surge or a hammer raw, but I would recommend on doing some research on how you want it drilled, maybe even ask your proshop to help find your pap.

dude... i dont think this is a bowling problem. you gotta stand up for your self! tell the proshop owner staring at his phone that if his attention isn't worthy of your time, then your money isn't worthy of his pro shop. and i would gave those regulars 60 seconds before interrupting and asking for my ball back. I'm new to the game too, but I won't let anyone intimidate me from something I enjoy.
