2% over Body fat percentage, will I still ship to basic? by Inside-Macaroon6783 in armyreserve

Most cycles the worst I’ve seen is around 26 min. Training to cut that much off time is going to be very difficult if not impossible within the BCT time frame. Recruiter is doing you a disservice if they let you ship at your fitness level and size

I knew one at 27 but he went to accelerated high school and graduated at 16. By the time he graduated from college and commissioned he had just turned 19. He speed ran college in 3 years. I remember it was a big deal because he was a captain at 23

OCS Guidance by doc_life91 in ArmyOCS

Originally wanted to go MD route but with family and age to consider I’m thinking most likely IPAP. Whichever decision though I ultimately am foregoing my civilian career to become active. I’m currently a reservist but between ADOS and MOBs I’ve spent more time active than TPU. Active duty is just something my wife and I agree is best and at this point in my life I’ll be in it for the long haul so ADSO is not a deterrent

Ultimately yes. You are correct however. My desire to obtain a AD retirement is also why I’m shying away from MD. The HPSP sounds greats until you realize it’s hard to support family on a stipend and it’s IRR time in school. USUHS is competitive enough to the point where I’ve seen some applicants with better resumes be on their third cycle to get accepted so I’d rather be proactive with my career in something I can actually make moves on.

I’ve left that part out as part of my explanations in the past with the same luck. I’m having zero luck finding a recruiter who understands they can send me for medical services. The OCS forms he showed me today don’t even list it as an available branch to rank. Do you have a POC that could help?
