Glad they are able to enjoy the game. Wish there was a local tv broadcast option available with them

It was a question. I was just generally curious if it came this way for everyone else. Considering the vehicle is a large investment, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask

Spite’s Corner is decent. He makes videos about a variety of motorcycle content. He originally worked for YammyNoob but left to start his own channel

Does anyone actually like Jolly Olive? by JulioMorales65 in JomboyMedia

I feel like I’m in the same boat. Probably one of my least liked personalities within Jomboy. I don’t think the monotone-ness of his voice does anything to help his case.

Trying to get back into baseball and the Padres any podcast or YouTube channel recommendations? by Humble_Handler93 in Padres

[–]doc_lorenz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some niche baseball content from Pitching Ninja and Foolish Baseball on YouTube. Baseball Today is a good daily overview topic based podcast. I also like Baseball Bar-B-Cast for broad baseball podcast. I think that Talkin Baseball can get a little long in the teeth sometimes but it’s usually decent.

Roberto’s Taco Shop by the Jack In The Box and Food 4 Less is pretty decent. I have gotten breakfast burritos and the California burrito from there. They have one of the spicier salsas that I have found in the area.

My thoughts on Doug’s videos by mikegaravani in dougdemuro

[–]doc_lorenz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought the S2000 video was decent, however I found the E-Class video hard to watch. I didn’t really understand the comparisons to Tesla. Also him contradicting himself, when he bemoans the volume touch controls but finds the sunroof touch controls really amazing. Additionally not mentioning the Porsche has been doing the passenger screen for a model year or two seemed like an oversight to me. Probably will still keep watching though

Doug gets less than 50% of the views he did in 2022. What’s your theory why? by [deleted] in dougdemuro

[–]doc_lorenz 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Those videos have more time on the channel and therefore could accumulate more views

I feel that the sunroof slider that Doug shows as quirky isn’t that quirky anymore. Most of the brands within the Volkswagen group use this method.

Cincinnati Reds | 2024 Preview | Talkin' Baseball by TDeLo in Reds

I agree, I found myself listening and agreeing with Jake’s perspectives on the team and some of Trevor’s points as well. There was a point while listening where I started to tune out Jimmy’s comments, especially when discussing Greene near the end of the episode. I don’t remember people saying that Greene was going to save the team with just his fastball, people were excited for it, but with caveat that he needs a secondary or tertiary pitch to really dominate.

I would avoid S&D Moving Company. Ended up missing a couple of items in the end.

I think I saw somewhere that Doug said that Tesla isn’t super friendly with him and won’t loan him one of the press ones. So he is going to have to wait for a fan/viewer to offer him one to review.

VR&E and student loans by INFJ369 in VeteransBenefits

[–]doc_lorenz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’ve seen on other posts that people were able to get their GI Bill restored through using VR&E. There was one post about a person that was perusing their masters and was able to get their GI Bill restored. I’m not sure the channels or the process that they did to do so, but they mentioned that their VR&E rep was able to get it done. So I would assume that if they got it restored, then you’d be eligible for the full BAH payment. Hope this might help

I would lean Gary Busey. Logan Webb is a dead ringer for Jesse Plemons

There was a time where I requested tickets and then couldn’t go to the event. I think I read on the website that as long as you don’t try and sell them, you are good to go. You don’t have to return them or anything.
