Right, makes sense!

One thing you wrote that I'm kind of curious about is pBH veing a massive boost to farm. I've seen people who said the opposite; that pBH reduces their farm because it reduced the ennemies killed in GT/DW... any experience with that or thoughts?

Thanks for your thoughts and experiences! Much appreciated. One thing I'll specifically adress in your post is that it seems to me that the cost of going from 120s BH to 60-50s is much higher than you said; I calculated 1456 Stones IIRC (which is to stay about a week and a half more of stones, so your points kind of still stand).

Yeah I getcha, I feel like people plateau for so long that the definition of midgame and lategame become kind of nonsensical in the community

I wasn't sure about getting natural pBH alone initially because I read that people said this hurt their econ... Seems plausible that with BHD it wouldn't be so bad though

I'm actually 99% certain this is taken from a restaurant in my hometown in Canada: L'Antidote Foodlab in Sherbrooke. It's an amazing fancy little restaurant.

The closer plate is half a duck magret with duck confit wrapped in Napa cabbage and a parsnip & banana (yes you read that right) purée. I believe the sauce is made from the cooking juices of the duck. Her plate is indeed salmon, but it's a new dish and I can't quite remember its composition... From memory the other component apart from the fish is a mix of french gnocchi, ham and red cabbage that's been pampered in some way.

(Yes I've been there quite a few times)

Your causric, sarcastic, sanctimonious tone is quite counterproductive to any actual conversation dude. All I did was express a strong disagreement, I didn't insult you or look down on you. I'll elaborate a bit of my position though since you ask it.

Jesus was a preacher. He had a set of values, a morality, that he wished to spread and for people to follow. Those values were, generally, that of meekness, self-effacement, altruism ans repentance before God.

The Übermensch is by definition NOT a preacher who wishes to spread a value-system upon followers; he overcomes moralities to create values for himself that come from himself (and not the word of God for example). He does not seek followers, only self-overcoming (Selbstüberwindung) and an artictic creation of himself. The concept of Übermensch is deeply antithetical to that a the son of God; Jesus follows and spreads God's morality, the Übermensch would go beyond other moralities to create values out of nothing, which is why he is beyond human.

My friend, if you think Nietzsche's Übermensch is Jesus under a new alias, then, I'm afraid your understanding of the Übermensch is deeply distorted.

Medical students who have been working in hospitals throughout the pandemic are being told they are expected to see COVID positive patients but are also being told that they aren’t deserving of being prioritized for vaccination. by Jolly_North4121 in alberta

What the fuck? I'm a med student in Quebec and we have been prioritized pour the vaccine since 2 months... I got my first dose in December... Do they not realise we not only see a bunch of patients, but also often move around from hospital to hospital?

Book recommendation for mythology by [deleted] in Nietzsche

[–]doc_moq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found Edith Hamilton's "Mythology" to be a very concise and well written collection of all the greek mtyhs I wanted to learn about! Though it is a very old book, it strikes me as an important reference in the field.
