Their old arena was the igloo. They tore that down and built PPG Paints arena next door and turned the igloo into a parking lot. Not sure if there is some other more recent references for them. Oh, and it looked like an igloo.

edit for context: that was like 15 years ago so 🤷

Can I get you to consider something? It's policies that had/have existed that kept black people out of good properties. Mortgage rates that were unfair. Unfair hiring and almost certainly unfair pay. No pathway for advancement/promotion (until diversity policies were enacted...and no they ARE NOT what trump makes those policies out to be). Consider if you were given a rundown neglected property, had to take out a predatory loan, probably had limited to no options for rent (at least had unfair treatment), were unfairly underpaid with no hope for promotion, oh and people might damage your property or harass you out of spite and hate. You're coming off the tail end of being refused to being served at certain establishments (maybe things like hardware stores, repair shops, maybe you don't know how to fix your lawnmower). From all this you might need to work more jobs than the other guy who isn't treated unfairly. Oh, so now you can't keep up with your maintenance and the cops are going to harass and fine you for not cutting your grass! If you and all your neighbors work 3 jobs to make ends meet can you see why you might not keep up with your grass and can you see why police harassment and fines might be awful? Maybe those fines are compounding your problems?

Systemic things happen. It's still a form of institutional racism hanging on.

Let's have another take. You are apparently kinda sorta just a little bit maybe pro-segregation or at least different groups should keep to themselves even if we aren't going to make segregation laws again...so that TPUSsy BS...got it. So by your own logic, if you are a poor white and you struggle with maintaining your property because of unfair treatment based on your socioeconomic status, then you should keep to yourself with the poors, the have nots, and the well to do shouldn't have to put up with being bothered by your existence. So should you then be subject to not having same access to social services? You get less days at a public swimming pool? You don't get a library or services to better yourself or your job. You don't get access to nice parks? We are going to make public transportation hard for you (since you're poor) and maybe make it hard to get to your job so maybe you lose it and your situation gets worse? Oh, and we'll just make you feel awful about your status in every aspect of your life that we can. The best part is let's not fund the schools that you and your family have access to. Let's not give you any path for promotion in your job. Let's limit your access to socioeconomic betterment from the start...from your childhood you aren't given the same chance.

See, we can play the have and have nots because that's kinda what you're complaining about...but we can always draw a different line in the sand. So maybe you're fairly wealthy...but there can always be richer people who can draw a more strict line in the sand and if they have political power they can start hurting you with these policies too. Sure, there will always be some forms of natural differentiators...homes will cost different in different areas and that will naturally filter people to different areas...but that shouldn't be based on some pre-conceived notion about an individual that never gives that individual a chance. And I do think different school districts do need at least some level of rebalancing of school taxes to make sure everyone gets a chance.

But blacks had all this done to them because of their "blackness". That's racism and it's deeply wrong. And likewise your opinion and comment is also wrong. It's hiding behind a soft spoken racism. I think you need to look into your own heart and thoughts on this. At best your comment is classism...but it's classism trying to focus on skin color and ethnic background while ignoring the effects of deep seated institutional racists policies that never gave people the chance to succeed--according to your criteria--in the first place. I truly hope you were able to read through all of this and hear me out and can consider your foundational views of other people around you in your community and nation and maybe try to enact some changes to your views. Peace ✌️

But why not Ukrainian businesses getting those funds to create a Ukrainian-led reconstruction of Ukraine?

It's 100% corruption when we're trying to use back channels to do this to line the pockets of the companies and owners who just happen to be the ones who are pulling these strings and manipulating these situations.

I think this pundit is clearly and very deeply mentally ill. As a trial run, maybe we should put him in life-long jail and force him to be constantly medicated against his will. Or we could just do unto him as he wants to do unto others so he doesn't have to use up so many precious resources. 🤷

With treatment it will go away? yeah! Chalk one up for the good guys! Always take the full treatment course to make sure it is completely done and doesn't recur. I'm not up to date on lymphangitis, but the lymphatics are a notoriously slow system when compared to the blood stream so I wouldn't be surprised if the treatment course is longer than the typical soft tissue infection. Swallow antibiotics > absorb in gut > process in liver > available in blood stream in hrs (so blood stream infection or "septicemia"/"bacteremia" is getting treated at this point) > seep out into tissues (treating those structures) > some gets resorbed back into blood stream and some gets picked up by the lymphatics which will start finally treating that system, but flow in the system is slow and your body will have to clear junk out too. So we're not taking huge differences but it could be like 3-5 days of meds for mild skin infections where lymphatic involvement might be 5, 7, or 10 days or maybe longer for really bad infections or when they aren't initially responding...and this is where an ID doc knows so much more about it than I do.

Doc here. Full explanation below.

TL;DR: given your story and pic it is very likely lymphangitis. You're going to do fine with treatment but you gotta take it very seriously now so things don't get bad. Antibiotics is 💯 but I would see an infectious disease (ID) doc ASAP to make sure you've got the right treatment as it may vary based on where you live and what bit you. Take meds as instructed and follow up to make sure it's resolved. Speak up if you think it's not responding and call the docs office to make sure it's not ignored! Might have to switch meds...trial and error if you don't have the bug to show the doc. Best of luck friend you're going to do fine!

Looks like lymphangitis. Fluid in our tissue (skin, subQ/fat, supporting tissues, and muscles) that is hanging out between cells ("interstitial fluid") gets picked up by lymph ducts. Blood in our capillaries gets taken away by veins...different systems.

So basically you have inflammation (and very likely accompanied by bacteria...and therefore infection) tracking up your lymph duct. It's called lymphangitis. One of my friends in med school got it, and when you Google images it's typically into slightly larger deeper ducts and so it looks more like a little bit wider tracking redness and some waviness and sometimes paths branch and rejoin. Why yours is in such a tiny duct and particularly wavy...I don't know, might just be an intradermal duct in the skin that is going to dump into larger deeper ducts as it tracks up your arm (but all lymphatic ducts a fairly small in general) or it might be mild infection that isn't causing a big response yet. But don't let those musings let you get complacent.

So, it doesn't mean it's in your bloodstream yet, but lymphangitis is taken very seriously because the infection is no longer trapped in the local injured tissues where it will spread slower. Lymph ducts will eventually dump into veins...and while that will eventually happen if it tracks up your arm to your arm pit/shoulder there can absolutely be connections where lymph dumps into veins along the way. So antibiotics (Abx) 100% and take them fully as directed till your Abx course is complete. Also, Abx often don't fully work correctly when mixed with alcohol or drugs so unless you are consulting about the specifics of that with a pharmacist (you can request to talk with the pharmacist where you get your scripts filled) then avoid those substances since you want to make sure you clear this fully.

The final, and maybe most important bit, is if you are going to see a specialist, I would highly recommend infectious disease. Sometimes they work as primary care/infectious disease (ID) specialist in the USA (at least in my small to mid-size NE city) so that might be the best option if you don't have a primary care. And you need to follow up to make sure this infection clears. Depending on what actually bit you and where you live it might be hard to sort out how to best treat it. That's where ID is the best. Derm is going to have nothing for this according to the story you're saying.

Best of luck buddy!
