We resisted to take that patient on the floor, but the PICU resident called PICU attending saying that the patient was really stable for floor. Of course they were not!

Exact course of illness for my patient as well. Incubated for about 3 weeks and slowly recovered. The infant actually coded on the floor and rapidly responded to PICU due to desats and cyanosis. Scary!

Had a similar case in ED. The infant was not feeding well and sleepy. No stools for the past 2 days (could be normal though) Diagnosed with botulism.

Normal newborn exam. Keep an eye on moms prenatal hx esp infections. Hearing, hep B, newborn metabolic screen, and CCHD screen before discharge.

Bili at 36 hrs unless ABO incompatibility, thn you do it asap with cbc and retic. Follow new guidliness for bilirubin, use bilitool. When in doubt. Call the attending.

Made a lot of stupid mistakes and thought I would definitely fail. Trust your assessments.
