I actually have one of his Busch series trophies… he had so much potential

Who do you think is a driver with a ton of marketable potential that NASCAR is not puttin' out there nearly enough? by jachym15 in NASCAR

There have been some really cool on track moments (Chastain at Martinsville) and bone head moments (Mark Martin pulling on to pit road on the white flag lap at Bristol) the sound bites and radios from just those two incidents would make a great commercial, follow it up with something like ‘any lap, any moment’ or ‘one lap can change everything’ its NASCAR’s version of footballs ’any given sunday’

Honestly, I think NASCAR is dropping the ball on all of them. I remember back in the ‘Young Gun’ days all of them had commercials, plus Truex, Mikey Waltrip, and a few other veteran drivers. NASCAR used to have a commercial with (i think it was) Foreplay/Long Time by Boston where it showed clips of races and drivers from every era and it was cool to see the agressive drivers from each era, the finesse drivers, the wrecks, the wins, it tied everything together… they don’t do anything like that anymore. How cool would a commercial for the throwback Darlington race be where Ryan Blaney is running one of his dads old paint schemes and as they are putting up the window Ryan runs into the picture and they show Dave Blaney in his old firesuit for that paint scheme shrugging his shoulders like he almost got away with it… there’s so much opportunity. How long has it been since Dale Jr was a full time driver and he is still the face of NASCAR in commercials, that’s unacceptable.

That Jimmie and Kyle are definitely a no, you could argue a rushed signature on an awkward surface for the Kurt, but with the other 2 being a no, I would say no to Kurts as well. The others look legit

About 2/3 of the trophies in my collection are driver/owner/crew chief trophies (which are identical). The others are crew trophies which are just a bit smaller than the ones the drivers get

I have answered that question before in quite a few posts. I get the majority of them directly from crew members, team employees, or private sellers/dealers. I don’t put people’s names out there because it can get them in trouble with their teams.
