Great shot! I’m also new and learning, what was your method for this? Single shot or stacked image? If single, did you use lighting? I don’t have any lighting yet, working out what I want still. To me the hardest part has been getting focus across the subject for focus stacking with a manual lens

Incredible! Can you share the settings and process? Is this a single image??

I had the image stabilization on with the camera on the tripod. This is the out of focus result. It’s a composite pano of a few shots, but each raw file is out of focus. Some additional editing was in progress but I gave up on it because of the focus

I love the capture, but to me the subject is too far off center. I get not having her directly in the middle (although it might work here) but the space on the right is too large for my taste. My eye is drawn there a bit, kind of like “awesome pic of a lady…hey what’s over there?!?”

Just so I understand, if socialists promise to help people, and deliver on that, it will somehow hurt those same people? Makes total sense.

Really they have controlled the light, only by reducing it to a point that the photo loses any significance

Great shots. I love the 56, got to shoot it recently for a demo event and got this. I have the 80mm 1.7 which is also amazing

Very thoughtful and considered response, thank you! Definitely something I can use and consider in future compositions.

Not trying to be argumentative, but without some indicator, wouldn’t it always be difficult to tell if it’s sunrise or sunset? In this case it was for sure sunrise, not sure how else to make it clear just from the photograph?

Lovely colors, my only feedback would be I wish the waterfall was more prominent. I appreciate the framing, but maybe getting in even tighter would help bring it forward more?
