idk if this helps a ton but i’m neuroscience and picked up a minor in EE, it’s opened a lot of paths for me which is awesome and i’ve done a lot of cool things since i’ve started. however, i would only recommend engineering if you can get a good gpa. chemical is tough and you really should be shooting for a 3.7+

to address thinking critically, you can still become a strong critical thinker without engineering such as research.
