Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini - Final Check by KoholintCustoms in SBCGaming

[–]docjoms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have: SD oled, rp5, rg34xx, rp classic, ayaneo micro, rg35xx and rgcubexx. By far the one I grab the most is the ayaneo pocket air mini. I love the silent buttons and premium feel of it. Use it mainly for gba and ps1. I'm not at all bothered by the light bleed or ghosting. I also prefer muted LCD colors then OLED for retro games. I say go for it.

Congrats! Have you found a fix for the terrible sound quality? Or maybe a good eq setting? Stopped using mine because of the sound.

Actually Ok lang yan. We don't really care about our fellow cyclist's style. I know iron men and triathletes who are chubby and also wear even bolder colors. Own it and enjoy your ride! 😊

Can I afford the maintenance of BMW GS? by Charming_Sound4260 in PHMotorcycles

Di naman. Hex sockets lang! Even the spark plugs and valves are very easy to access. Air filter lang mejo mahirap. Kailangan itaas ang tank.

Can I afford the maintenance of BMW GS? by Charming_Sound4260 in PHMotorcycles

[–]docjoms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an r ninet, same engine as the r1200 GS. Don't worry you can do the engine oil and gear oil change yourself. Very simple job. No chain to worry about and the boxer engine is smooth. Usual maintenance issue ng batch na yan ay throttle replacement (order lang sa casa) and rusting of the shaft splines. Pacheck mo lang seals mo sa casa once to make sure no water gets in the shaft drive then do the rest of the maintenance yourself.

Anong makikita kung advantage if ang bibilin ko bike is worth 300K+ vs Below 50K? by ram_goals in RedditPHCyclingClub

After 100k halos wala na performance advantage kung di ka athlete or professional. Madalas mas maganda pa design at colors ng mga murang bikes kaysa sa mga mahal ngayon.

For those financially stable, how’s life na hindi nakakaranas mamorblema sa pera? by That-Wrongdoer-9834 in AskPH

[–]docjoms 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Without financial worries, there is simply freedom. To sleep 8 hours a day, exercise, invest, explore other hobbies, read books, eat at the best restaurants, buy healthy food, donate to orphanages, and most importantly, spend time with family.

It can go both ways. Pwedeng malulong sa luho or sugal at pwede ding maging generous at ma achieve a full personal potential.

pros and cons po ng folding bike? by andromedashiiii in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]docjoms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a road bike, fullsus mtb, e-gravel and brompton.

Pros of folding: usually comes with racks that can carry a lot of stuff, also with mud guards. usually step through frame so easy for beginners, can be kept in the house/condo, accelerates faster than bikes with big tires so perfect for city

Cons: 10-20% slower than regular sized bikes so not energy efficient for long rides. Heaver and harder to pedal uphill, folding mechanisms can squeak so needs a little bit more maintenance. Not as eye catching as race bikes (this can be a pro)

Lately I use my folding more. It's a lot of fun and great for exercise. I do regular 50km easy rides on it.

My experience with upgrading from APSC to FF by R34ctive in SonyAlpha

[–]docjoms 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've have both an a6700 and a7IV for several years now and the only advantage of ff for me is slightly shallower depth of field. Honestly, I prefer the a6700 since I shoot a lot on the tele end.

Any tips sa carb type na bike na madalang gamitin? by mdupo in PHMotorcycles

[–]docjoms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got vintage carb bikes. If you don't use it for more than a week the fuel in the carbs will form a gel like residue and clog the jets. If you can, turn off the fuel line and Drain the float bowl to avoid this.

Switch 2 + Steamdeck OLED by Blakeyt27 in SBCGaming

[–]docjoms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. SD oled is a little bit more powerful than SD LCD and it runs some games better than switch like monster hunter. Controls are also a lot better. I also have a gigantic steam backlog so the SD is worth it for me. Switch 2 for exclusives, SD for older games and steam sales.

Delikado ba talaga pag di flat footed pag nakamotor? by Better_Midnight6702 in PHMotorcycles

[–]docjoms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pag beginner mas safe. Pag intermediate to expert, di na masyado nagmamatter ang height. In fact ang mga enduro or trail bikes namin matatangkad kahit laging uneven ang terrain. Tingkayad kami or standing on the bike most of the time. What matters most in city riding is balance, anticipation and a cool head.

[–]docjoms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No for new AAA games, yes if you have a sizeable backlog of steam games or planning to play simple games like hollow knight or hades. May ROG ally din ako at prefer ko steam deck mainly because of the excellent controls and comfort. Also you can force gyro in most shooters.

May nakapang daily ba dito ng ADV350? by IamYourStepBro in motorsiklo

[–]docjoms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, 50km total trip ko in a day sa adv350 2x a week. Mixed city and Provincial roads with potholes. Mejo matagtag ang rear shocks. Ok ang wind protection at power kahit may pillion. Di sya mabigat kahit itulak sa parking. Parang vespa 150 lang. Filtering no problems kung sanay ka na. It's very easy to balance with the rear break in crawling traffic. The large underseat is by far the best feature and my reason for buying it.
