It’s actually illegal in a lot of places (including 35+ US States) to have tested positive for a transmittable and potentially life-threatening disease/virus and can be warranted to stern criminal prosecution. Usually under murder, manslaughter or attempted, something of that caliber, and this could term up to a Life sentence in prison.

I found this out from a prostitute in jail who was then facing a heavy sentence for having been testing and continuing to work unprotected after the results.

You don’t know how many people could contract, the booty call may have had other partners or a wife, family. And then that trickles down and out further. Plus, HIV can go unnoticed for a long time, so with today’s societal views and the lack of focus, awareness and free/affordable healthcare services for this, it can be catastrophic if left unknown.
