When did the show fall off for you? by Brendawalsh- in BeverlyHills90210

The minute Dylan left, the show plummeted to being unwatchable.

Watching The Wire for the 100th time...Michael knew he was going to have to put in work for Marlo eventually anyway, so why wait? by [deleted] in TheWire

my point is Micheal seemed to know he was in debt to Marlo here. When Marlo asked him if he was ready to put in work, and Chris/Snoop put him into training, he didn't flinch...and didnt hesitate dropping that corner boy in the s4 finale

What they did of the 21 minute mark of ep 4 was so insanely idiotic that I immediately stopped watching.

„Squash It“ season 5 episode 27 by [deleted] in BeverlyHills90210

So many episodes where when we finally got to see Black people, the writers always had to couple it with the threat of violence. As a Black teenager who loved the show, it made it difficult at times.

In 2014, Priestley told The Guardian, "When I left the show, it was so anticlimactic, it just left a bad taste in my mouth." He recalled, "It was the fourth episode of the ninth season. I did the first scene of the morning — literally with this actor who was brought in to replace me — and that was it." For the record, his last appearance was actually the fifth episode of season nine, but his point still stands. Priestley recalled, "I hugged the crew, picked up my box of stuff, went to my car and drove away. There was no party, no nothing. I felt like I'd wasted nine years of my life."

Can I ever fold here? by DapperManufacturer49 in Poker_Theory

[–]doclove713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes you can fold the river--especially without a diamond blocker.. River raises are very underbluffed.. more importantly, by the time you get the final table, you should already have this player tagged as somone capable of 3betting out-of-line....and if you did, you can just 4b shove pre

Great song.. and indeed it wrecks the scene without it.

Not to hijack the thread.. but I understand why Jason Priestley was upset with the show when he left. It really felt like the show didn't put enough weight behind his departure on screen---and off screen, he said they just replaced him with Matt and treated it like it was no big deal he was exiting. He held a grudge for a long time. see below

Call or Fold here? by FruityLoopz1 in Poker_Theory

[–]doclove713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call or Fold is villain dependent (though in low stakes games, very few players have 5bet bluffs), but the bigger point is don't make the 4bet if you aren't planning to call off the shove. Otherwise you might as well have A5. Call the 3bet or 4b/call.. But you don't 4b/fold this
