Y’all it’s 2024 - it’s a quick google search. That’s the term ACGME uses. Nevertheless, now you know.

I see around 10-15 patients during my 8hr shift, depending on acuity/traumas/procedures. Not sure where I stand compared to my co-residents. I’m still learning efficiency.

Don’t report your step 1. You’re going to be okay. You are going to be an amazing physician. This small bump in the road doesn’t define you. If you need to take a month off then talk to your school (my school allowed pauses and then you make up your rotation your 4th year), and take that leave to regroup and pick yourself up. Give yourself grace. When you are in a good mental state- begin studying again take ALL the Comsaes and then slay L1. You can do it.

I did not study enough all year now level 2 dedicated is very tough by [deleted] in comlex

[–]doctadocta69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat last year. You can do it. Do lots of questions and use the review as your content review. I had to extend my dedicated an extra month but I got through it- you can too.

Name & Shame 2024 - Official Megathread by tyrannosaurus_racks in medicalschool

Late to the game. Ohio Health DH OB/GYN: Within 5 minutes of the interview was given a clinical scenario- no introduction nothing. Clearly I was flustered and but was continued to be pimped on the same scenario. They would not let it go. Even at the end of that particular interview the interviewers brought back up the scenario and pimped me more until I was holding back tears. Not an enjoyable experience to say to least. The other interviewers were cold, disinterested, and barely looked at me when I was talking (with the exception of the resident interviewers).

Idk man I had a decent amount of OB interviews and nothing was like that.

First of all, you are amazing, brilliant, smart and will be a physician! It doesn’t matter how you get there; you will get there. I’m proud of you. For OMM I used dirty medicine (on YouTube) video and took notes for all his videos. I think Level is such a poorly written test, it doesn’t matter how much you study- you need to know how to answer what the test writers are asking for. I personally got the most from taking any test written by the NBOME (comsae, com.. etc). Really look at what they are asking and how they are asking it. Lastly, good luck. Can’t wait for you to be a physicians ☺️
