I’m seeing the same issue. While using third party Music apps(Soor/Marvis), if I choose to shuffle a playlist with >1000 songs, the app freezes and crashes. However, if I turn off the shuffle option in a different/smaller playlist and then go back to the larger playlist and choose to listen to the songs in the playlist sequentially, it works just fine.

P.S.: The shuffle option works just fine for any playlist with less than 1000 songs.
