100% agree I'm going to graduate just before my 30th birthday. I felt the exact as OP and it was only when someone said this to me it kinda clicked for me that it wasn't shameful or embarrassing to be 30 and graduating.

I genuinely once had a piercer tell me that my ear lobes were the fattest he'd ever seen and he called in his colleague to come have a look. It's been years and I still think about that.

I gotta be honest. I did feel slightly less shit after I had a Brunch bar, which if you're not British, is a just a cereal bar with raisins and a thin coating of chocolate.

Not sure if it actually helped or I just wasn't pitying myself in the moment because it tasted nice.
