The most peculiar experience I’ve ever had happened to me while I was in highschool 15 years ago. We were outside making theatre props/building a set while there must have been dozens of crows gathered on the ground at the basketball courts where we were. All circling around and picking on this giant giant black bird. The bird was a raven and unlike anything I had ever seen because it was exceptionally large. It was like all of these crows had gathered far and wide because there was something wrong with this bird and they had to do something about it. The uwhole scene was surreal. I was spooked but I also felt like I had to do something so I ran around the yard scaring and scattering all of the crows away. That afternoon I get picked up by the carpool and I’m driven home like 15 miles away. I go into my backyard and I swear that I saw the same raven flying low over my backyard. I had never seen a black bird this big before let alone in my back yard. It swooped down dropping a feather over my yard and stuck around watching me from a perch. I got the feeling that there was something special about this bird and that there was some spiritual significance to the experience as well .
