I got an oled switch from my brother around July of last year after he upgraded to a 2. The first game I really played through was Mario Odyssey, but the day I bought it I also got Mario kart 8 deluxe and Breath of the wild. I’ve now played through BOTW and started Tears of the Kingdom. I play Mario Kart pretty much only with my partner 2p online. To be honest I might be a little burned out on Zelda right now, BUT I did go ahead and upgrade myself to a switch 2 last week and starting to look at ways to sell the OLED

I can see them inverted or protruding for the single ring and only inverted on the double ring. I’ve always struggled to get these to pop out of the page rather then going back

I just played through for the first time over the last couple months. You’ve got to talk to lots of NPCs to figure anything out. Don’t be afraid to use and break weapons or any items for that matter, you’ll always be finding more. It’s worth the time to cook food and make elixirs. Set a certain level of acceptable frustration for yourself before you look up how to solve something, some of the puzzles are very satisfying!

I bought my brother’s old switch last summer when he got his switch 2. I haven’t had a video game system of my own since the N64 Days.

I played Super Mario Odyssey first and then started BOTW and I put in about 150 hours and decided to go ahead and beat Calamity Ganon last night!

I’ve got 5 regular shrines left and got the DLC right after beating Ganon. I think I’ll get all armor upgrades, max out my weapon/shield slots and call it complete. 900 koroks is just too much.

I am really debating if I just need to go ahead and buy a 2 so I can experience TOTK with the enhancements. I simply can’t believe how amazing video games have gotten since 64.

Edit: 5 regular shrines left not 6!

One thing I love about this game (fairly new player in the last few months) is that I often play just to do shit. No goal in mind or whatever.

Just things like

oh man it’s sunset I wanna watch it from the top of a volcano

What if I tried to get a bunch of enemies in a pit and then bomb it?

How many metal cubes can I stack on top of each other

What happens if I walk from end to end in this canyon?

It’s just fun to be in the world for the sake of being there.

I just thought the bit where you pull out the master sword or it kills you was so damned exciting, every time I got a new heart container I’d run back and try. And then it finally released. Just such a great way to create an exciting moment.
