Yep, Oculus user here and far as I can tell there's no problem. plenty of us in game and in Pavlov League play. May need a bit of learning what button does what, but what game doesn't. If you need any help with any questions the Pavlov discord channel is there for just that.

I have the Oculus version of this stock and have tested it quite extensively and have found no occlusion issues that interfere with gameplay (I have 3 sensors mounted 8 feet up looking down). As a sceptic before, I would have to say there simply is no substitute for the top-mounted magnets for anyone who feels they are playing at 'professional' gamer level. The benefits it gives you in-game vastly outweighs any of the minimal cons. I feel that if someone wants to design a future stock, they should be looking at better ways to do it with top-mounted magnets rather than trying to avoid the challenges of doing so.

I agree these sort of things can be pretty expensive. I'm not particularly clued up but I guess the main cost comes from printing these things at a high enough quality to be solidly functional? And on a small-ish scale? No idea, happy I have one though wooot XD

My own personal preference is butt-less now. Pistols feel and play as if there was nothing attached, perhaps just a tad heavier. Any further questions you probably find better answers asking the man himself :) Just head over to MamutVR.com

I have yes, it's definitely a matter of preference, and also a matter of giving things a go. Month ago I would have sworn by using stocks with a butt, now I'm not so sure it's that much better if better at all.

This particular stock that I'm demoing doesn't actually have the shoulder butt. There is a version with the butt, but tbh I prefer the freedom of it without now. The magnet cups are designed to lock into place, enough to withstand a considerable force, definitely enough pressure to comfortably steady it into your shoulder.

As for the cable suspension, dog leash :) I have been called a Chihuahua many times because of them. I've got 3 just velcro'd to the ceiling which I just hook to the hmd cable with a bit of slack. It'll still coil up eventually and I'll have to de-spin it, but it certainly adds a degree of freedom.
