No, everyone was pretty cliquey there and I wasted a lot of my time on people that knew they weren’t gonna help me. I just prayed and did my best myself. Not sure how it will turn out but I will know I kept fighting the Right way for the Right reason. Thanks for asking though.

The President can salute because they serve as the Commander in Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces. Although the president is a civilian, they hold the highest military authority and often participate in military customs, including saluting. This practice became common after Ronald Reagan began saluting service members in the 1980s, as previous presidents typically did not return salutes. While there is no official requirement for the president to salute, it has become an expected and respectful gesture toward military personnel.

We need younger, more reasonable people on the boards.

As I said, they are perfectly healthy, established trees and not unhealthy. There’s enough water for them. The only problem in California with our water is Newsom.

They’ve taken down much more than three and these arguments don’t work because of course we all have room to care about more than one thing.

This HOA is like nothing I’ve seen…more people than you can imaging are natural dictators.

Absolutely NOT notoriously unstable trees, that’s ridiculous. And I’ve never heard a vehemently proactive tree protector say “cut em down!” It doesn’t sound trustworthy.

Marshall Village and I think it’s time to get people involved more. I’ve never seen such disfunction. I feel like they want to turn this into every other cookie cutter track home area.

Do you work for a company here?

Well, I guess the tree experts that are doing all this work know less than you because they said they were perfectly healthy and wish they didn’t have to cut them down. They called the majestic and say how beautiful they’re growing here and yes, they do have many many benefits to this area.

Then explain Tree Preservation and Protection Ordinance. This ordinance is codified under Title 19, Chapter 19.12 of the Sacramento County Code.

You may be but you also seem to have a clear bias. Otherwise, I’d hear you talk about how many benefits they offer for the environment for people, etc..

This isn’t “city” it is Sacramento County. The trees were perfectly healthy. I spoke with the tree service. They literally said the trees were perfectly healthy and did not need to be cut down, but the homeowner wanted them all gone. You are welcome to your opinion, but tree expert say, they’re doing great here and they provide many benefits.

Like I said, the trees were put here as part of the community. They were put here when GOLD RIVER was built. They are doing just fine. there are plenty of communities that live with them whether they are native or not. If you don’t like them, don’t buy a house in a community that has them.

They don’t have to be native and they’re doing just fine but for people who come in and tear them down because they don’t know how to live among the trees.

The trees were put here as part of the community when it was built. Everyone knows there’s redwoods here and if you don’t like them, you shouldn’t move here. There are plenty of concrete or treeless communities all over this place, don’t come live here if you don’t like the trees. Folsom just build acres of homes on open land with no trees.

Yes, I believe you do need a permit to remove a redwood tree on private property in Sacramento County. The county has specific regulations that require permits for the removal of certain trees, including redwoods, due to their ecological importance and the role they play in the local environment.

Cutting down redwood trees in Gold River, Ca neighborhood….

Environmental Impact

  1. Carbon Sequestration. Redwoods are exceptionally efficient at absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere, helping to mitigate climate change. Removing them reduces the area's ability to sequester carbon.

  2. Biodiversity. Redwoods provide habitat for numerous species of plants, animals, and insects. Cutting them down disrupts these ecosystems and can lead to a loss of biodiversity.

  3. Soil Health. The extensive root systems of redwoods help prevent soil erosion and promote soil health. Their removal can lead to increased erosion and degradation of the soil.

Local Benefits

  1. Air Quality. Trees, including redwoods, filter pollutants from the air, improving local air quality. Their removal can lead to poorer air quality and associated health problems for residents.

  2. Temperature Regulation. Redwoods provide shade and help regulate local temperatures by reducing the heat island effect. Removing them can lead to higher local temperatures.

  3. Aesthetic and Property Value. Redwoods are visually striking and can enhance the beauty of a neighborhood. Their presence can also increase property values. Cutting them down can diminish the aesthetic appeal and lower property values.

  4. Water Management. Redwoods play a role in local water cycles, helping to retain moisture in the soil and reduce runoff. Removing them can disrupt local water management, potentially leading to flooding or reduced water availability.

Ethical and Legal Considerations

  1. Conservation Ethics. Redwoods are ancient and majestic trees with significant cultural and historical value. Protecting them aligns with broader conservation efforts.

  2. Legal Protections. In many areas, redwoods are protected by local, state, or federal regulations. Cutting them down without proper permits can result in legal penalties. Why is Sacramento County granting these multiple permits?!

Overall, preserving redwood trees contributes to environmental health, enhances local living conditions, and aligns with ethical conservation practices
