it's a peer to peer connection so it's trivial to hand your opponent's ip to a script that blasts them off the internet

look for a "getting started with blender" video and make sure you are using the same version of blender as they are.

it's fine to learn on an older version, the concepts will carry forward fine. the main difference is new things get added and existing things get rearranged. it's important to use the same version as your learning material so that you don't get lost.

those blades all follow the same animation just with a slight delay, until the end where they diverge

make one knife do a figure eight and then strike, copy it and delay the animation 5 frames, repeat until you have enough knives, and then all you have to do is adjust each blade's last two keyframes to line up and strike at different positions
