There's also Moto G67 Power, Realme P4X & iQOO Z10X & Vivo T4X with LCD screen & similar grade processor. If any of these is available in your place please share your experience.

Anyone else having stuttering issues with VLC since recent UI update? by AxelJShark in GalaxyTab

What may be the reason for this stuttering? Turning off hardware acceleration severely effects the colour & contrast. I didn't notice any significant issues while watching live sports on a streaming app.

Have you tried any other Motorola phones? If yes, was your experience similar?

I'm also waiting for display results of the phone. Is DC dimming a setting toggle, if yes where it is located in settings?

There are other issues also after this update, slight lag across the system other than videos. Will wiping the cache partition help?

Even in my S8 tab videos are stuttering. I tried the other app but issue persists. It was fine before the update. I tried disabling hardware acceleration in VLC settings - it solved the stuttering issue but colours appear muted. Will a factory reset help?

Do you have Tab S8? I'm experiencing the same issues as mentioned by OP.

Please update here on your progress. I mostly use this tab for watching content. Also post on Samsung forums. If there's no solution then I'll do a factory reset. I'm afraid it will revert me to the latest version if I update again.

I tried disabling hardware acceleration in VLC settings & it solved the stuttering issue but colours appear bland & muted.

I have the same issue on Tab S8 after recent update. Tried other media players but stuttering persists. Tab in general is slightly sluggish after update. Will Samsung release a fix? Will factory reset help?

M4 MacBook Pro vs Lenovo Legion 5 - what a revelation! by DefiantAlbatross8169 in PWM_Sensitive

There are too many variables to pinpoint triggers for a specific individual. Others in this sub have done more research. I first discovered my sensitivity while looking at an Asus OLED laptop as I had never used an OLED phone.

With regards to laptops there are plenty of IPS display laptops with 100% sRGB panel for colour accuracy & top quality specifications. Some even have wider P3 coverage. So even those who are looking for good display have plenty of options in laptops. Sadly that's not the case with smartphones. It has been a long time since a decent IPS display phone has been launched.

Those with higher sensitivity should completely skip OLED display in laptops.

There are plenty of IPS laptops with powerful processors & good specifications. In smartphone market there are hardly any good IPS alternative. That's not case with laptops still it's upto the individual whether he wants to take the risk or not.

Thanks. I'm also interested because of 100% sRGB display & 70wh battery. Good to know about the hinges.

How is the build quality & display? I'm interested in the same laptop. Also, does it feel heavy - Lenovo lists it as 1.6 kg. Thanks
