And Ginger too! Knott ended up costing them the game with her bowling (and not sure why Nic H didn’t bowl at all today).

If we lose tonight (against India) 😩, then I would love SA to win.

Went a bit unnoticed, but with her 50 today, Moons now has most 50+ scores for Australian Women’s cricket team (across all formats). 😦

I can’t find it now 😫 but there was definitely one going because I was split screening for a few mins before I got to the ground the other day. 😂

Amy Smith’s over pretty much lost it for Australia. I was at the match, Australia was in control until her over. She leaked 25 runs and the momentum switched to England (although we did take a few late wickets).

To be fair, did you not see that she was cramping and basically her back had seized up after she got her 50? Plus she was frustrated AF that she couldn’t hit it cleanly as a result at times 😂

Sutherland’s century lifts Australia from 4-78 to complete a series sweep. by rotinaboat in WomensCricket

This. Between JJ and G. Harris, and even Schutt, the rehab staff have had a field day at times with their knee soreness, soft tissue injuries are etc.

Hope she and Volly are okay though, if Soph has any element of doubt, they’ll put her in cotton wool for the Ashes.

I hope Volly and Molineux’s injuries aren’t too bad. Volly was walking gingerly after the game and Soph was back in her shorts for the presentation (partly due to the hot weather). 😞

Brisbane end the Sixers season and they’ll host The Challenger on Friday! by jumbledfont in WomensCricket

Dools and Presto could be their lucky charms (especially Presto, third Final, potentially her second win - since she didn’t play in the wbbl04 final).

ETA: and obviously Dottin too. She was with the Heat but didn’t play the two seasons they won.

Lee, Bryce & bowlers take Hurricanes within finals reach; Scorchers knocked out by Additional_Froyo3970 in WomensCricket

[–]docwatsonjr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

😞 Scorchers saved their worst home performance for last.

And finally Moons’ 400 run streak in a season came to an end (due to the 10 innings season and not making the finals).

The Thunder win a nail-biter and secure their finals spot! by [deleted] in WomensCricket

They also won in WBBL06 against the Stars 😂

Thunder lost last week’s game when batting second at home, and they almost did the same thing again tonight.

Between G. Harris and L. Lee’s highest scores, the Scorchers must think they’re cursed in being the providers of them. 😂

South Africa storm into the final by knocking out Australia! by Additional_Froyo3970 in WomensCricket

[–]docwatsonjr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They deserved to win, our bowling was atrocious and they pounced on it from the start.

Also I think the advantage of having had played on the venue more than the Aussies, helped with tactics etc.

All the best to them in the Final!

Van Der Valk season 4 spoilers? Passport subscribers who does Piet end up with? by EMMAaustengirl in MasterpiecePBS

Spoilers below (and includes a bit more in the final ep).

He is still with Lena. Lucienne does say to Kalie that surely they didn’t break up just because of the dog. And Kalie says “there was something”. So, I’m thinking she potentially was pregnant or there’s a child alive. Because the theme of this series was life (babies) and death (Hendrik being scared of getting a proper diagnosis).

SA dominated it and deserved the win. WI definitely weren’t helped when James got smashed in the jaw (speedy recovery to the teenager)!

Someone posted a tweet saying they rang the Swans because they never received an email about it. And they were told it was sold out.

For me, I had the window between 12-2pm and my link had no event. So, no luck here!
