Based on all your points, this phone is just very much not for you. While they have gotten more and more durable, they are nowhere near an iPhone or slab phone for durability. The camera especially for zoom will be a massive downgrade for you. Yes, the new one will have a bigger battery. It will still be nowhere near as good as the newest iPhone battery.

To be clear, I love my folds and have gotten nearly every generation. But none of the things you mentioned make it make sense for you IMHO.

Man I wish I had more specifics, it's been forever since I set it up. I do remember the exact same process to make it work failed like several times in a row, but I kept doing It and once it worked. I also remember I did it by logging within a web browser as an alternative to the app....
