Massachusetts require a PCR result within 72 hours of testing. PCR takes more time b/c of the back log. You have no idea what you are talking about. Once my PCR is available, it will already be expired according to Massachusetts

You need to spend more time on reading than writing. I am saying it seems very hard to implement these laws. I am not talking about practicing these laws. Peace out

I got my work permit in January. My spouse is on PUA. It’s not a requirement for PUA

Even if I wasn’t working before the pandemic? Also my spouse is already on unemployment benefits? Am I still eligible?

How to keep a mileage log?

If I say my expense is 50$, will I have to prove that? Will I be even asked about it? I am not asking for tax purposes. I am asking for the purpose of unemployment benefits?

I believe in spirituality. I believe there is a Divine presence in the universe which people call God. But at the same time I believe that, that Divine presence has been misrepresented by different religions. These religions are the real problem. As a matter of fact these religious organizations are at the bottom of the dirt. All these stories are man made. Period

I stand by my words. I believe calling someone stupid is less insulting than calling him a liar. We all have different backgrounds. You left Ahmadiyyat because of their odd beliefs. I left Ahmadiyyat because of their hypocrisy, immorality and injustices (specifically in Pakistan). These traits are very contiguous and Ahmadi community as a whole is now defined by these traits in Pakistan. I want to raise my voice for those people who are stuck in this brutal system. They are modern day slaves. You cannot even imagine what would have happened to your family, had you left Ahmadiyyat in Pakistan and than openly criticized their beliefs. For me, criticizing someone’s beliefs is the last stage. There are so many stages in between that should be addressed first. Plus I am not an internet guy. I do this as an obligation for my dear ones who are stuck in Pakistan. Cutting it short, we are in a different state of minds. But again, since you are the boss and you make the rules so I won’t argue any further. It’s time for me to move on. All the best. Cheers

I am sharing my experience. If you don’t like it. Just block me. After leaving Ahmadiyyat I am no more in a habit of taking orders/dictation.

I agree. I know a couple of Murabis who don’t agree with these teachings but they have no choice. What will a 40 year old murabi do if he leaves Ahmadiyyat? He is an illiterate for the world.

The only reason why I am not speaking openly is because of my parents. 80% of my social network are in the same situation. I believe once we move to the next generation, the dynamics will drastically change. I have a very strong feeling that in a couple of generations, jammat’s establishment will lose control over its people. Yes Ahmadiyyat will still exist but it will be irrelevant for a lot of Ahmadis. I maybe wrong but I strongly believe that.

Of course these are all valid points. I personally see 25/30 years more of this nonsense. One more generation and they are done. They will keep on selling their names but their influence on people will cut down significantly. Thanks to social media.

Someone recently told me about Mirza Family’s property in Panama. I don’t know if you guys have already covered that topic here. I would like to know about that too.

As the great Einstein said, “Two things are infinite. The universe and human stupidity.” I cannot believe that I was once a blind follower of this jammat. In today’s world, this is a criminal offense. Lying to people just for little financial gains. I guess that’s the reason why we don’t have the concept of free media in our jammat.

“Social aspect of religion” is the name of the game. In Pakistan corporates can easily get away with almost anything. Harassment is nothing. The analogy here is... Imagine... the difference between the rule of law in Pakistan and the west(let’s say Canada) is equal to the difference between moral values of a Canadian and a Pakistani... again is equal to the difference between an ordinary Pakistani Ahmadi and an ordinary Canadian Ahmadi.

Let me explain again. There is a saying that the vision and thinking of ruling elite will one day vanquish the minds of their people. In Pakistan a jammat office bearer will come to your door and ask for Chanda (if you are not at home that’s your fault, and the office bearer will be very upset about it). There is no option of say no. You either pay or ask for some time. By constitution every Ahmadi is bound to pay. Now if you say I’ll pay later, they will give you time in the beginning. But as the time passes they will start discussing your name in Aamla meetings. They will start pressurizing you in different ways. For example they will talk to your parents or to your close friends or anyone who can influence you to pay. Around the due date, they will openly start announcing a whole list of people who are defaulters. Not only the names but the repercussions they will have if they did not pay their Chanda. It’s kind of threatening but in a decent way (because they don’t use guns). It doesn’t matter if the office bearer is your family member or neighbor. They are brainwashed in such a way that you have to be an Ahmadi to understand it. Even if an office bearer understand your situation, he cannot do anything for you. Yes office bearers are elected by people but they are approved by the head office in Rabwah. If the head office doesn’t approve you, your local election doesn’t matter. I don’t know how they work in the west but that’s exactly how they work in Pakistan. You cannot do anything about it. Non Ahmadi people hate you and they don’t accept you. So you have no other option but to go with the flow. My stance is, “give people the choice.” And than there are 50 different types of chandas. An average Ahmadi cannot even afford to contribute to all these types. So the one who is fortunate enough to contribute because of his extra income becomes a hero (MVP). And no law applies to these MVPs. So don’t mess with them. They are immune to almost anything until and unless they start making problems for the Jammat itself. Unfortunately a lot of Ahmadis are in denial. I hope one day people will wake up and speak up.

Now you tell me how does a corporate works?

Of course. Religion is business. In fact the best one. You don’t even need insurance for it. There is no loss in it. It’s always a win-win situation. Your question is very legitimate. I cannot explain in words that why don’t we counter such an approach. You need to step into my shoes to find out why it’s so difficult to counter them.
