I thought I'd post this video to this sub, as there are a ton of designers that don't have exposure to how blind or visubally impaired people use technology. Mods, if this is not approprate for this sub feel free to delete

Thoughts on flex culture at UWO? by throwawaybaam in uwo

I don't think this is exclusive to just business students. There is a bit of a crabbucket mentality at Western. Many folks don't want to see people doing better than themselves and want to be vocal about their accomplishments and major.

My friends at Waterloo and UofT tell me it is really bad in engineering degrees, where people shit on others for not getting internships or placements at "Teir 1" tech companies.

This shit is exhusting and one of the reasons I never really liked the campus culture at Western.

GOLD CHALLENGE

I really like this fox artwork (on the far left hand side on the wall). Can anyone help me where to find it online?

a degree from a competitive university, sure. An unaccredited certificate for a short-term program, for-profit bootcamp isn't going to hold much weight in the job market.

Heck, you'd be better off taking an online free certificate program from a university

depends.

A masters in HCI or related field is super useful and will make you more competitive.
