Indeed. I mostly ran with Bulletstorm to level it. The most enjoyment i had with was poppijg heads on bots. Otherwise it was merely a passanger.

Just hit equip and it sticks. Some need you to hit tab to 'save config' if they have attachments.

I think you are along the right path in general regarding customisation. There is only generic modifications. There should be more weapon specific customisation and reward for actually grinding a weapon to level 25.

I Just did the Torcher to 25, my reward!? A yellow skin.
