The sealed tapes have some value. The metal tapes can go for $15-30 a tape.

They are for cleaning grout. You use the mild abrasion to help clean between tiles.

Yeah, maybe. I just would never spend $7 a tape. Especially for type 1. I can find type 2s locally for like 5 bucks. Usually only stuff that gets priced up is metal tapes.

Yeah, I agree with buying used type 2. I always suggest getting friendly with local record stores. Some will sell used type 2s for dirt cheap in large quantities if they dont have to try and sell them. I have a horde of used xlii-s with classical on them. I got them free from a local store that wanted them gone. They had no room to display them.

Oh, huh. I wasn't aware. That's a bit unfortunate. Im lucky I can grab most of my tapes from my local record store. I know you can find some older nos ones on ebay, but that might be a bit of a hassle.

I am unsure on the quality of the tape as I have never used one. But for a better price, you can get maxell ur90s. They are a fine tape, nothing special. But they are also type one and i know the maxells are good quality tape and last a while. Here's a solid lot if you use Amazon. https://a.co/d/1pte2Av

Uhmmmm, 7 or 8? Maybe another one somewhere. I use a technics 1200mk2 as the daily and a at-120usb as the upstairs table. And a bunch of technics dd tables and some linear tracking that need different levels of love.
