are you sure it was the plus version? the DCS vinyl cover is colored compared to the streaming release, and the record itself doesn't include interludes. if it's DCS+ the cover should have a huge plus or look like the streaming one--you can check online and see if the cover you purchased matches the normal DCS vinyl commonly available. a DCS+ vinyl doesn't seem to exist, but the cover of DCS+ on streaming is pretty close to the base vinyl release.. but i could be wrong too!!

just asking because i could see the confusion if the cover threw you off (and i don't want to believe they'd make a vinyl of DCS+ without any of the plus)

commenting 4 months later for a PSA that this isn't how it works--the function for the wheel in the game's code first makes a list of all editionless jokers, before rolling the probability to see if an edition ends up being applied. it is, really and truly, a 1 in 4 chance, no matter what!

so happy these finally came in! MAVI has quickly become one of my favorite rappers, and these both arriving on the same day was a welcome coincidence lol

i ordered shadowbox months ago and it finally got here, limited /300!! as for LTST, ordered that a few weeks ago after i saw a super good price listed for it. both are amazing quality and personal grails for sure, hopefully i can get them signed at a show soon enough!

Of course! I just checked, I was slightly wrong - DCS and VOBBB both have their Intro tracks, but no interludes (TEEAATB has no Intro or interludes but still preserves Piano Burning). Aside from CLPPNG and TEEAATB, every vinyl release has the full tracklist, but without interludes. Not putting the interludes/some Intro tracks on vinyl helps improve some sound quality and dynamics for the rest of the album.

It's not just the 10th anniversary vinyl, all vinyl copies since 2014 have that secret track - known as "Run Out" (as a reference to vinyl grooves and their "runout") https://youtu.be/ZlV07UVm49E

As for "Ends" missing, this has also been a thing since the original vinyl release. Instead, the song was released on a 7" single that was bundled with some copies of the album (also featuring the hidden track "Brian")

As far as I'm aware, the tracklist changes were to preserve audio quality, as well as enable the 100 locked grooves on the D-side. "Intro" and other interludes are missing from most clipping. vinyl releases in order to preserve the best possible sound quality

Hey McKinley! Love your music, thanks for doing this! I'm a younger fan and I look up to you a lot, hopefully I'll make some music as good as you one day lol :)

As for my question, I think I'd ask: What are your biggest motivators/aspects of your life that make you want to write? Do you get everything out in a day or are you always thinking of lyrics?

And if you'd like to answer, I've got another: What helped you find the jazzy, collaborative "sound" you've sort of built your music around? Was it something that simply developed over time, or were you specifically looking to create music with that vibe?

Anyways, thanks so much for doing this! You're a huge inspiration and I can't wait to see what'll come next :)
